Default New Instrument or Midi Track for EVERY loop I drop??!!

    Hello folks

Everytime I drag a loop from Addictive Drums into Cubase..Cubase adds a new instrument or midi track (the only options I can find in prefs)..so if I drag twenty different loops over from Addictive drums...Cubase has now added 20 new tracks!! I just want to drag the loops over to my midi track and drop them right there...but that doesn't happen..if I drop ithem there..they pop down onto their own new inst./midi track...THEN I can drag and drop to the midi track...THEN I have to delete the accumulating inst track(s)...because they fill up the work area in no time at all...what's the trick here?..

I believe this is it from an old Nuendo post about the same thing. It used to drive me nuts too.

File -> Preferences -> MIDI -> MIDI Import Options and uncheck "Import To
Instrument Tracks" and "Auto Dissolve Format 0".

No problem. It's one of those things that comes up often and I had to fix it for a friend as well as myself.
