That is one reason I chose Android over iPhone. Especially when it comes to my phone. I don't want Apple and AT&T policing my apps and choice of apps.

I love my MAC's and they get regular use. Love their Apple Protection Plan. Laptop in shop, and going back to Apple to replace fan and bottom part of case. No charge. I think I bent the case banging on it trying to quiet the fan. But they didn't ask.

    My favorite:
......an Ebook iPhone app for public domain works. Since it provided access to a Victorian-era translation of the Kama Sutra, the app was deemed inappropriate. We asked Apple if they saw any irony in the fact that the iPhone's web browser provided access to a billion websites far filthier than an ancient translation of a religious text.

"Apple can further determine whether a user pays attention to the advertisement. The determination can include performing, while the advertisement is presented, an operation that urges the user to respond; and detecting whether the user responds to the performed operation. If the response is inappropriate or nonexistent, the system will go into lock down mode in some form or other until the user complies. In the case of an iPod, the sound could be disconnected rendering it useless until compliance is met. For the iPhone, no calls will be able to be made or received."

Let's add to Apple just being scared of their competitors.

So, Apple is suing Nokia, and Nokia is suing back. Nokia is bigger. So is Google. I have a feeling, we won't see much result from this for the next 5 years.

Of all of the things that are worth being afraid of in the world at the moment, Apple is at the bottom of the list.

Looks like Nokia is freaking because while they have a huge share of the cell phone market, they are being owned by the Blackberry and the iPhone at the top end because they simply don't have anything themselves to compete, so they are suing RIM and Apple, most likely to get access to RIM and Apple's technology.

Nokia isnt being pwned. They have the largest share of phones out there. Nokia has a bunch of smartphones as well that are quite popular.

While I have an Android phone, I don't see Nokia losing this one.
