any chance you could change the new posts from today's to from last visit??? i know it's a minor issue but if you only check back 2-3 times a week instead of daily as i sometimes do ...

Have you tried clicking on "What's New" rather than New Posts?
There is a setting I could try but want to make sure if this would work first.
