They take it away, and put it back. Every time jobs is away, then threatens to come back.

They are also lower priced too. Smart move. guess the MS commercials are making an impact.

The new iphone 3G S are out too. Looks like I might finally have to get an iPhone.

I love all the stuff that the iPhone does, but I have decided to buy an iPod instead and just use it in wifi areas. In Australia the iPhone plans are extortionate, and I get dizziness and headaches from cell phones, I am doing my best to get away from them. I definitely want access the iPhone applications though, I hope I can run them on am iPod. Anyone know?

iPod Touch and iPhone can use basically the same apps (same OS) - only a few exceptions of course for apps that are phone-oriented. Some apps are cool to have on the iPod - depends on what you want it for. As long as you are around wifi, online apps for the iPod can be handy, but probably moreso with the iPhone if you have an unlimited access plan $$.

I don't think an unlimited data plan exists. I've read many stories of a 5gb DL cap and if you go over the $$ is pretty expensive. I looked into it to drop land-line DSL since my DSL is pretty slow and my phone had consistently better benches in data connectivity.

AT&T's data plans all capped.

The Aussie telco's have such a monopoly here, they are trying to keep Australia in the dark ages as far as communications goes. Slow and expensive, much like our government.

Wait, are you sure you aren't talking about the US? Sounds eerily familiar.... :eusa_eh:

That's just what I was thinking.
