Installed it today as my 3rd boot (ya, scaredy cat... triple OS system... what are you afraid of...:D)

The freebie RC expires June 2010.

No driver/install/cubendo issues whatsoever (using AutoAffinity v3 w/my UAD2 Quad with multiprocessing ON).

I think I'll go out and buy some more memory now that I can use it.

I've got 12 GB, but it's overkill right now.

I might just finish building that second i7 system now and put this on it. I just need a processor and a case.

Nate will be here any minute asking you if you're using true hidden partitions. Don't encourage him.

I've heard about problems with iLok. Anyone had any?

On iLok - run the client installer from the web site (ilok.com) and click OK when you get the CPP error (installer incompatibility).

Then, go to Device Manager and manually install the iLok driver by nav'ing to the the program path for iLokDvr that gets installed in your Programs Folder by the (presumably failed) web client installer. Did the trick for me.

Also, if you're running a Firewire interface, you have to change the default Firewire driver that Windows installs to the "(legacy)" driver, then FW based interfaces mount without a hitch. I'm using a MR816CSX on a Win7x32 image and it's pretty dreamy.

Yes, I just used "dreamy" in a blog post, and I *mean* it. :)
