I believe waves plugins won't work in 64 bit but if I was to use Cubase 32 bit on a 64 bit O/S would waves plugins work then?

thanks

Hey Michael,

You can use Cubase 32 bit and any 32 bit plugins on either a 64 bit O.S, and it works quite well, with only a slight hit in low latency performance compared to running it on a 32 bit O.S .

I haven't heard of Waves plugins having any particular issue in theat above scenario.

Your mileage may vary with certain VSTi's however, depending on how they actually respond to using the upper memory address space available.

Waves does not install and run on Vista - positive about V64; pretty sure about V32. But if you have XP 64, as Vin said, you should not have a problem using Cubase 32.

Cheers.
