ANyone using one of these here? Care to discuss the pros and cons with it?
Considering the price and the lack of user configuration, I don't think they are worth it.
I have 6 slave machines at the cost of 2 receptors, and I can do more with them.
Look into the shuttle PC's.

Only thing the Receptor would be good for is mobility and live shows. But still, you mine as well use laptops or rack up a pc as that is all the Receptor is basically.

Yep, and still cheaper.

There are things that don't run on Receptor and as everyone above says, it is old, slow, expensive technology.

Recepter is attractive to band musicians who do not have the experience nor sophistication/knowledge of using the home DAW setup.
