In the Nuendo forum, I always click the "Mark all topics read" thing after reading whatever I'm interested in. That way, the next time I login, only threads that have been posted to since my last login show up as having unread posts. Is there a way to do this here?

The button is on the bottom margin of the forums section, just above the "Whats Going On " area..

That would appear to mark ALL the forums read. Is there no way to mark just an individual area (like Speakeasy) read?

Yeah you can. To the left of each forum there's an icon that lights up denoting that their are new posts. All you got to do is doubleclick that icon and it will mark it read.

Running Firefox 3 on an old Mac (G4) running OSX 10.4, These icons don't work properly. After I've read a given forum area and double clicked the icon for it, it does "go out" indicating that there are now no more unread threads in it. But when I come back to the listing of forums after reading threads in a different area, that previously double clicked icon then shows new posts available, even when there aren't any new posts.

Hey! Are you looking into this? Is it a bug? Or is it only happening to me?

Could be an issue with Firefox, or an issue with this vbulletin version. We should be upgrading in the next week or so. Hopefully some of these issues will be resolved. Sit tight.

Does it not behave this way for other folks?

I did notice if someone just edits a post it will act is if there are new posts.
