Mainly the plugin controller, hardware encoder knobs on an LCD screen!!!!.....mmm if I could have that baby in my rack right above my 1176's and other UA gear it would look the piece with my UAD plugs on its bitch ass!!

I want that dude to take my $$ and send me one right away!!

Its guys thinking like that that need to be employed by hardware companies....as you might see it seems he works a studio and thus know what we want and might find useful! What a concept hey??? Steinberg should employ him, throw a lot of $$ at him, and get him to come up with the next gen of controllers for Cu/Nu and get Steini innovating and LEADING the pack again....

rant over....as you were... ;)

That is awesome..

Hopefully this guy can get this to market successfully, without it being cost prohibitive.

Sam,

Maybe you should edit the thread title to direct the members to the thread and alert them to the product. I think the momentum will roll quickly on this.

Did anyone else notice the LCARS GUI? :icon_cool:

Also, did anyone else notice the thanks to Chris Bluerubberman at the end?

Sadly we need to all forgt about it becoming a commercial reality..

Found at C.net - Here (http://cubase.net/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=113346)

I donīt have plans to sell it. The price would be impractical, compared to standard midi controllers.

I had a lenghty discussion on how it was done at this forum:

Again, thank you all for your comments. I am starting of being proud of it Smile

I can't believe a developer hasn't approached this guy to do this commercially.. ??

Heres an article on the guys studio Here (http://translate.google.com.br/translate?hl=en&sl=pt&u=http://www.musitec.com.br/revista_artigo.asp%3FrevistaID%3D1%26edicaoID%3D19 6%26navID%3D2620&ei=AuunSbXkJpW6twfOo6jfDw&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=3&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dest%25C3%25BAdio%2Bdrag%25C3%25A3o%26 hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff)

Awesome concept, but for now, out of reach of we mere mortals..

If you read the thread at KVR , he thanks Steinberg for the SDK that was required to enable him to program the custom applications to stitch it all together.

I can't see C.B's involvement being anything more..

man, that is just awesome. It's hilarious that most of the "professional" companies can't ever get this right, ergonomically on functionally, and some independent guy comes along and trumps them all, who actually has real-world experience on what is needed.

Oh blast!Maybe I will just have to get out there and rob him good then!

I hope some commercial entity picks up on the plugin controller 'idea', I would blow a lot of $$ on something like that!

Maybe just start with the plug-in controller. Just amazing, the whole thing.
