DBX Neve compressor (http://cgi.ebay.com/DBX-Neve-160SL_W0QQitemZ270341703489QQcategoryZ23793QQcmdZV iewItemQQ_trksidZp3907.m221QQ_trkparmsZalgo%3DDLSK WL%26its%3DK%26itu%3DMBMS%252BUCK%26otn%3D4%26ps%3 D48)

"This is the most expensive one, since then DBX realized these series were too expensive to manufacture, so they came out with a cheaper version..."

WTF?!?!?

I hate when stupid ebay fuckheads put another brand name in the title to atract attention to what they are selling.

Mackie...like Neve, SSL

Toyota...like Ferrari, Lambourghini

Asswipes should be killed to death. :icon_yes:

Ebay call this "keyword spamming" and will delete listings if they catch people doing it.

Ebay call this "keyword spamming" and will delete listings if they catch people doing it.

Putting unrelated names in the item title is pretty lame.

Ebay's search allows users to select looking in entire auction text anyway, so the easiest way to add keywords is to throw several at the bottom of the auction in white font. They won't be visible to the eye, only the searchbot. Why pay eBay for extra category definitions?
They're hitting us on both ends of the transaction anyway with Ebay & PayPal fees... quite a racket they've created.
It's at least a 10% hit altogether when you're the seller.
OK, sorry for the off topic rant...

That is one damned nice looking comp.... if you like blue.

This guys been trying to sell it since December... and he originally wanted $2050:
http://buy.ebay.vn/buying/en/display/270319794267_DBX-Neve-160SL-

Then, he wanted $1850:
http://www.farkoath.com/dbx-neve-160sl/

It's a $5000 compressor at Sweetwater... reduced to $3400 new:
http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/160SL/

Somebody will get a pretty damned good deal if they pop this at $1650... even $1800.

BTW, the NEVE in the DBX 160 title (although a teaser) might be based on the design/price stratosphere of this:
