1. Folder Options > Open each folder in it's own window - doesn't work; it did in XP. Bug?

2. Remove buttons from IE (feeds, page, etc.). Close IE. Open IE, buttons are still there. Remove buttons again. Close IE. Open IE, buttons are still there. WTF???

Ok, I lied...

3. Any registry tweak to get search to open with advanced on, as opposed to haveing to turn it on every time?

Thanks mucho in advance.

Using Ult 64 sp1

Hey Jeff,

1: Re opening folders in own window, just tried it here on Vista64 Business SP1, and it works as expected

2/3: IE, never use it so can't help there, Sorry. Haven't looked into the search options on Vista as yet, to be honest Vista is just a test and qualification platform on my development systems, so I haven't really dug in to far with the day to day..

Maybe some other guys can chip in..

Hmmm - not here.....

3. Windows Key + F opens Advanced Search from anywhere.

No - that is not an advanced search. Even the link you provided has erroneous info:

"1. Press the Windows Key + F. NOTE: This will open the Advanced Search window from anywhere in Vista."

And yet the pic they show is NOT an advanced search.
