I noticed that BB code for images is switched off in the signature page... Is this to save server space? Some forums allow images in people's signatures, others don't, it might be good if we can put our studio or music business logo in our signatures, I for one like to be able to see other poster's business info under their posts (if their business is industry related). I also find that posters are more considered in what they post if their credentials are on display also... Nice for members to put their band logo up as well. Makes the forum a bit more colourful too.

I'm not in control of implementation one way or another, but from other forums I've used where that is commonplace, too often it creates an over-commercialized blitz of "stuff" that serves little more than extending the scrolling necessary to get the text information in a thread. If you allow some, where do you draw the line? Listing a link to your website in your signature is enough IMO.

You can augment your personal/visitor page here in this forum to promote your business and/or band.

If you want it to show in the forums, just put it in your Avatar.

Okay, I allowed BB image code in signatures. Just don't abuse it with large vertical images etc or it will be disabled.

Aha! Now I can prey upon Stacy's good nature and insert my evil corporate logo....

Why don't you save space and make that banner redirect and then lose the url below. :eusa_think:

Because I am not enough of a geek to know how to do it.... Is that possible?

BTW, thanks for turning the feature on, I hope it gets used well on the forum.

Cool, now we can start a thread giving code lessons and reminders not to "abuse" the image size, then we can debate what the size should be based on the debate that determines the definition of "abuse"...ad infinitum...

ya, still steamed that the refs had way too much to do with the superbowl.

Try this format:

Shoot. It's not letting me type it in without "rendering" it. Look at the attached screenshot. Just replace the pertinent urls.

Thanks Stacy, that worked! I owe you a synth repair.... Although lately it's been AMS reverbs and lexicon delays for some reason, thing do come in waves in repair shops.
