Not sure if the 90/91 work the same way, but...

I have a PCM-70, and can't for the life of me figure out how to overwrite a user patch. I can store a patch to the user bank, but can't seem to either delete it, or overwrite it with another patch. In fact, if I edit a patch, and want to store it to elsewhere, I MUST select an unused patch. Then - and only then - can I store my edited patch. Can't seem to overwrite any patches that I have already created, tho.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

You need to turn memory protection off.....

1. LOAD 7.0 CONTROL PGM

2. Enter the parameter mode and select 0.1 M PROTECT

3. Rotate knob to suit.

HA! I don't even own a Lexicon!

Thanks - but I got it.

It's not mem prot. it's auto load that needs to be turned off. When on, selecting a patch causes it to load, making saving impossible.

Cheers.

No worries, here's the manual anyway in case you don't have a copy....
