Well... just announced...

www.audiomidi.com:80/Cubase-4-1-P11879.aspx?utm_campaign=enews&utm_medium=newsletter&utm_source=enews012009&utm_term=Cubase4
Cubase 4.1 for $469.42 and get the C5 upgrade for free!
I guess the resellers are finding their own way to move existing stock faster than the "official" sites.
If anyone finds a better price, post it.

Brian, is this the official upgrade process, or the Steinberg North America official upgrade process? As you may well remember, when it was time to upgrade SX3 to Cubase 4, the policy for cross-grading Nuendo users in the rest of the world bore no relationship to the policy in the US.

As always, I can only speak for Steinberg North America. For information in a specific region, please visit that website or the HQ website at www.steinberg.net.
If I can be of any assistance, please let me know.

Brian,
If only the local channels were anywhere near as informed as the U.S , we would all be singing Dixie.. , unfortunately that is not the case, so contacting local reps in a lot of cases is a waste of time...

Vin...
Understood. So, as promised, I will act as the conduit and discuss what we can do better so that all markets are well-informed. Stay tuned.

NEWBIES or guys who want a second license:
www.jrrshop.com "group" buy 15% discount on Cubase 5: $424.15
Makes the Nuendo 5 upgrade look like a very bad deal for most people... unless it's $199 including the NEK for N3 & N4 users.
