Hi all,

just to make a feedback concern the grace period of the update cubase4 to cubase5.

The period concern all the people who buy cubase4 beetween december 2008 of march 2009. However, i was buy my cubase4 in december 2006, for 850€. And now, i can't take advantage of grace period, because i buy my cubase4 out of the dates of grace period.

Today, you can find cubase4 for 535€. Sorry, but i don't understand why i would to paid 199€ for update to cubase5, then i paid 300€ more expansive that all people was to buy their version recently?

I found this option totaly unjust. I am a faithful user of cubase, but I can tell you there i'm really disappointed to have to pay for the upgrade, while I paid my cubase more than those who can benefit from the grace period today.

Would you explain to me this? Other person would agree with me?

As to your complaint, that just life. I'm lucky in that I bought C4 as an upgrade for $400 USD. If I want to upgrade, it would cost me another $199USD to do so.

BTW, where are you from that C4 cost so much?:eusa_think:

I bought cubase in December 2006. At that time, its price was 845 €. I bought cubase sx3 + upgrade to cubase4. 720 € <=> 149 = 869 €.

Cubase 4 costs € 535 today. But a few months ago, it cost about 850 €. So the problem does not occur to me, because its price was in 2006. Therefore, i found this option totaly unjust.

And I don't want to pay 199€, which i will cost € 1068 for cubase5.
