Hi
I know it's a bit wrong, but if you download.....
Steem Atari ST Emulator (http://steem.atari.st/download.htm) and
Midi OX (http://www.midiox.com/) - for Midi Yoke inputs and outputs, and
Cubase 2.0 (http://www.geocities.com/wjdegraaf_geo/mc303/cubase.html) - image that works in Steem.
.... then you have a fully operational Cubase 2.0, circa 1989, that you can use as a MIDI sequencer to trigger VSTis/whatever via another DAW/standalone and even hook up that DAWs transport up via MTC to record audio in sync. You just set the MIDI output of Steem to Midi Yoke 1 and use Midi Yoke 1's channels as inputs in the host.
Great fun, and it makes a big difference firing the MIDI at quality VSTis (I use Tracktion v3 as a host) than a crappy TG-500 and Ensoniq ASR-10.
Anyway, judgeth ye not and have fun.
:)
