Hi all,

After a lot of fiddling trialling and tweaking The Alley is ready for duty. If you are a band looking for somewhere to have your tracks mixed all the way to slammin town, or if you are and engineer or producer looking for a new home base that has been designed completely with mixing as the focus - get in touch!

Take a few minutes and have a look at the site (http://samhannan.com/studio) and we look forward to hearing from you (http://samhannan.com/contact)!

Nice one Sam, the site looks nearly as good as your mixes sound :)

The room turned out really nice Sam. How do you like that Argosy desk? I was thinking about having my buddy build something similar to that design just with a full flat top across the back since I have 3 24" monitors.

Cheers guys....Roger, to answer your question about the Argosy - I LOVE it...its totally what I wanted and is perfect for the Euphonix setup I am running and with the amount of outboard I currently am running. The only drawback, I suppose if I was pressed, is that due to the low-slung sleek design (which is the reason I love it!) there isnt a great deal of space for excess loops of looms in there so you have to be pretty exacting with your runs or else you can run out of wiggle room....

Ya I was wondering if there was any kind of tray system built into it along the back. That's how my friend builds them into all his custom consoles for the broadcast customers.

Yep - there is a tray system - its just that quite a few bits of my gear are quite deep and the angle means that you start getting in the way of plugging bits in if there is too much excess cable lying around in there.
