This is a work-in-early-progress ...
A prince is away from home, exploring distant lands, trying to work out his place in the universe.
An old priest seeks him out to give him news that his father, the King is Dead ... murdered by usurpers. Traitors.
The Prince, insane with the loss, returns home and is greeted by the ragged party of Loyalists who've decided to 'RALLY ROUND' him
'Now you are Returned! We shall SLAY the vile userpers .... Oh MIGHTY PRINCE .... Follow Us ... we're ... er .. Right Behind you!
The Prince, he just wanted to be alone with his tears ... but alas, it looks like he's lost far more than his father. And is likely to lose even more.
