Hey Nikki,

Its the same as selecting the option to disable power modes in Cubase 5.5/Nuendo 5.

Its simply a tweaked performance power profile for Win7 , so for those that already know what they are doing, its nothing new, for those not as well versed, its fine.

BTW: With the option ticked in Cubendo, it replaces the existing power profile for the tweaked one while Cubendo is running, but will revert back to the users profile on exit .

I have been too lazy and preoccupied to check it in detail. Based on the description, it sounded like they were somehow disabling the effects EIST, C-states, etc would produce? Or does it actually disable BIOS options form the OS? Never heard of the latter, did not think it was possible.

Will look for an option in Cubase 5.5.. I have gone through several, not sure what I have set anymore, lol.
