I have an idea. Let's create a technological revolution that convinces everyone to put themselves on a monthly payment plan forever and brainwashes them into thinking that "being connected" 24/7/365 is an essential part of modern life. We'll be billionaires, and we can buy houses a long way from the landfill! :rolleyes:

Yes, I own a computer (PC because they're faster and cheaper and I can build them and modify them and customize them myself... take that, appleheads)
It is a tool first, and a toy second.
And I built this rocket for $700, not including my soundcard. (only slightly more than you paid for your iPhone... take that again, appleheads).

Well I haven't had a landline since 2003, just a cellphone. It was actually more expensive for me with a landline cuz they would kill you with long distance. You get on with one of these cell companies and they have free nights and weekends. And in my case free calls to to other AT&T people. It's not really bad.


And if you had a cell phone in the early 90's up until 2000 it probably would have killed you. expensive as hell the farther back you got.

I find this Mac cult obscene. That more than the difference between Mac and PC saves me from ever buying a Mac. Same job, different tools. Mac = more mouse, PC = more keys. That's all ... I'm more keys, so ...

I never eat at worldwide junk food centrals , either, so no Big Mac jokes ... :p

IF ... Mac and say IBM where the only two companies that manufactured ALL the computers and ALL the peripherals there would be no DAWs at the prices we see today, and we wouldn't sit here sending messages all over the globe :eek:
