Just got an email from Sweetwater that the MC controllers' prices are going up by $400. Might want to buy one today if you were thinking about it.

I'm sure they will continue to sell pretty well, but likely not as well as they would if they had simply released PC drivers 2 years ago. I guess this is what happens when Avid gets control of your product line. lol

damn, I thought it was already overpriced. It's a good unit though.

Are you talking MC or artist series.

Artist. I don't think Sweetwater carries the MC Pro, but I have to wonder if prices will go up there as well.

I'm such a believer in cross-platform compatibility that Euphonics is off my shopping list permanently until the policy of Mac only changes. Being stuck with either Windows or OXS is just too risky, IMO.

It sounds like AVID is trying to capitalise on aquiring another wounded duck by bleeding the cash cow.

I am with Daryl, I wiped Euphonix like a rag over the lack of PC support.., and I doubt its still high on the agenda.

Since they're continuing to dog the PC market, Avid might as well sell the naming rights to Apple... they could call it iPhonix.
