I wonder if anyone here has experience with Duende 3.1 drivers. In order to go 64 Bit I finally have to leave the 2.5.9 drivers (which anyway have the dreaded timer error but were solid apart from that) and use 3.1. But some simple null-tests show severely different behaviour of the plugins in 3.1, so I wonder if there are any more bombs placed in hidden corners or if it is safe to work with 3.1 - apart from that everything will probably sound different now :icon_twisted:
If anyone happens to know the differences in the channel strip and bus compressor plugins between 2.5.9 and 3.1 it would help me if you could share. I did some test files with the 2.5.9 drivers to compare with, but I'd need more detailed testing to really figure out which setting or eq band or so makes the difference - which would mean I'd have to switch between driver versions in order to investigate. That seems like too much wasted time...
Btw, it seems they've found an efficient solution for a polluted forum, they simply shut he whole place down...
