1. Ocean Way Drums
2. Steven Slate
3. Superior 2.0
4. BFD 2.0
5. Addictive Drums

What would you go with if you HAD to replace a live drummer?

More specifically, which one sound the most REAL to you?

Say you could ONLY go with ONE library, which one would you choose?

Remember, your making an RECORD with this

I have been using Superior 2 and augmenting the snares and kicks with Steven Slate. Awesome.

I have AD here already. I was thinking of picking up Superior 2.0 and Steven Slate 2.5 when it comes out. I think those three should cover it dont you?
OceanWay seems a expensive to me but it may be awesome sounding , dont know .

You kept that one quiet!!! :)

I'd have to say that you may be right, because I haven't used Addictive Drums.

For sound quality out of Battery 3, Jamstix and BFD 2, I have to say BFD 2. Having said that, with e-drums live jamming nothing beats a nice bit of Jamstix plus a dash of Blockfish for that "in rehearsals" vibe.

Apart from maybe all the rest on the list I haven't got.

:(

Looks like Ocean Way Drums will be releasing a cheaper Silver version of their drum library. Still just as expensive as their competitors. lol I am curious about their drums but they are just too expensive for me just to try em to see if I like em.

I have EZ Drummer and love it. Recently got Superior 2.0. The mixing options are a lot more flexible and look awesome.

Another Suerior Drummer user here. I really like it, especially EZ player pro, but the sound demos for Ocean Way drums are really great. It's a shame they are sampled at 48 or 96, since all my other VSTIs are 44.1.

Yeah that kinda turned me off on that one along with the cost of the Gold version.
Im dropping that one off my list here

BFD2 for me... including all expansions. Well... in fact almost with all expansions... XFL and Taiko are still in order.
