View Full Version : EQ Analyzer .....
Who makes a plugin that can analyze the EQ curve of one thing, then apply it to another?
LEX
Frequalizer from RNDigital will do this.
No more:

I had found this http://www.rndigital.com/frequelizer.html but other links like the shop are gone.

What happened with Roger? Get caught up in some lawsuits or something? I was going to suggest the same thing except I knew his site was down. Will be interesting if the demo link for the product works. I'm surprised there would be a link still up.

Apparently rogernicholsdigital.com is no longer, and that's where the store was hosted. I can only guess from the main site statement and past threads on GS that he and a partner had some disagreement, so he apparently canned the plugin company.
I liked Inspector XL, but can't get it reauthorized on my new system. At least RN should have passed the plugins back to the original developer or a new developer rather than shelving them. Too much drama.

Steinberg... Free Filter... been around for a decade, but I think it's DirectX (you'd need to use N3)
I also think Voxengo's Curve does something like that... Aleksey has just about every EQ option imaginable in his lineup.

Hmm. Voxengo. Will have to look into that.

Yep... Voxengo CurveEQ
"Voxengo CurveEQ implements SpectruMatch spectrum matching technology that allows you to perfectly transfer a spectrum's slope from one recording to another. This allows you to `copy' a frequency balance of existing mixes so that other mixes that are still in the works will sound better. This technology also greatly helps in music disc mastering, since using it allows you to easily lessen any dramatic differences in the area of frequency balance between various tracks."

TC Assimilator for powercore that does it as well. Didn't know curve eq does the matching as well, that's good to know. I remember reading about a plugin that does take the spectrum of one track and applies it to another track in realtime, but I have no idea what the name was.

Ideally, this would be great for ADR matching production.
At least a starting point. Would save alot of time.
