They should have just removed the meter bridge. I think that is needless when it's going to be sitting in front of computer monitors that could display it if you need it. I am sure the price would come down drastically if so..

Totally disagree stacey!!! No meter bridge on the old ID-Mix was why I never bought one!

I like to have the edit page open big on comp monitor - and use the mixing desk for what it is - A MIXER! :)

Much better for me to not have to open other windows all the time and have stupid always on top confusion crap!

Now I am about to buy a property and finally build my supersteroids studio - I am just torn as to whether to make a tango and extension bay the centre piece, or maybe this ID Mix....I need to sit down at the tango for half a day and see if it really is as snazzy as it can seem, I already spent time on a big ID console and it was really great for sure....

Honestly, I don't mix looking at vu meters much. In fact I don't really look at them in the vst mixer except just occasionally to make sure I am gain staging correctly.

$10K is a hell of a lot of money to replace a mouse and keyboard when you're still only manipulating Midi/SysEx messages with a glorified emulator.... but it's damn pretty.

I think it's more than midi/SysEx if I understand correctly... but yeah expensive....
