Posted this on the VSL forum earlier, but thought it might be quicker to post this here.
I have been able to successfully run VE Pro between two computers - master and slave, dongle plugged into slave, of course.
Now, I have just built another DAW, which will serve as my master. I have installed VEP there, and can successfully load the .dll into Cubase, but I can't seem to connect that client instance to the server instance loaded on the slave. If I go back to the original DAW, it works - but not on the new DAW. Everything is plugged into the same router; even tried giving the new DAW the same ip address as the old; no go. So, obviously I am missing something here in terms of something being different between new DAW and old DAW. Any idea as to what that is?
