Hi!
I need your help guys.
What is the best way to have tv output from my imac 24''-cubase 5.1 ,playing a quicktime video.
I know advc 110 is an option..Unfortunately i m not able to have an internal video card to play out my quicktime files to an lcd tv
Any suggestions???

Thanks..

Hi and welcome mate,

I think Blackmagic may be doing a USB3 decklink card - but I am guessing there is no way for you to get USB3 on that machine either :(

I know N5 will be coming with a new video engine - and I am guessing that C5.5 will also have this - it supposedly can output QT through FireWire (but I think you already can with Cubendo on OSX no?)....so really you will be left with something like the Canopus or AJA as your only real options I think....

Anyone using one of these with Cubendo current versions on Osx already? Can Cubase do video out FW on mac like Nuendo could? Does it work? I only have experience with decklink HD PCIe cards so I can only make educated guestimates for you sorry....

How about one of those old FW cards.... what were they... canopus adc110's? I used one for years on a pthd system... and they are cheap as chips. SD only though...
