man, what a bummer. Brings back memories from the 80's listening to Holy Diver and the Last in Line.

Saw Dio in concert when he got that new 18 year old guitarist to replace Vivian.

Saw him on the Sacred Heart tour.

I've seen him so many times I've forgotten. He was here last year for the Heaven & Hell tour and it was great to see him again. My all time favourite singer is gone but his music will live on forever. \nn/

His death had been stated on the 'net several times recently, which prompted Wendy Dio to issue a statement that he was still alive, but not doing well. Then I get up yesterday to check his page and find he had passed. So sad, but glad he isn't in that horrible pain anymore. RIP.
