Not sure exactly what causes this, but on this current film, I've had Nuendo crash 2-3 times with serious errors/failures while editing. The last instance, during playback, I simply grabbed the range select tool to cut a section out of 3 tracks - started to draw my selection, and the error popped up with the Nuendo4.log commentary.
It managed to corrupt the project version I saved to after the error (which is why I save to new filenames frequently) - luckily I had just opened the project, so I didn't lose anything.
This kind of error and bug has been in Nuendo for years. This is my number one fix request. I could have lived with the solo/mute bug, but not this one.
