Just wondering what everybody is using for their creative works.
Here's my list:
VSTI
Kontakt 3-sampler
Battery 3-drums
Omnisphere-synth
PoiZone-synth
Trilogy-bass
VST
URS CSP
Sonnox Limiter
Sonnox Inflator
Sonnox EQ
PSP 84
PSP MixPack
TapeStop (free)
Fish Fillet (free)
I'm looking at Sonalksis packages, more Sonnox, and more PSP for the future.
I also use the stock plugs quite a bit.

Can I assume from this that you are happy with all these, and that they all work well for you (don't have problems in the Nuendo/Cubase environment)?
Care to elaborate on why you like/chose these over other possibilities?

Sure
Battery 3- I had an MPC1000 first and I'm not a drum sampler. I like the interface and the fact that it came with a huge library from the jump and it has the facilities to tweek the drums right out of the box.
Kontakt 3- I was thinking about Halion vs Kontakt when I started, and I went with Kontakt. It came with a huge library and was more widely accepted. Even over Gigastudio.
Omnisphere- A sh1tload of hype around it, plus I had trilogy and used atmosphere at my friends house all the time. Similar interface with more functionality. I figured it was a must have.
PoiZone- I like the simplicity and straightforwardness of the interface.
Trilogy- I heard someone's song that used Trilogy as bass and wow.
URS CSP- I was learning about plugins when this was coming out. I contemplated waves and use it at another studio, but this has been good for me. It has a lot of positive feedback.
Sonnox Limiter- I seen the youtube video with that dude explaining the plugins. That goes a long way for selling a product.
Sonnox Inflator- Same as above.
PSP 84- must have for rap. So much rap is based around delay effects and subtle things like that. I love it. Nice straight forward on vox. Great on other stuff too.
PSP Mixpack- I got caught up into reading about saturation stuff. It hasn't let me down when I've reached for it. Still getting an understanding of it.
PSP has a lot of positive hype. I like their products.
Tapestop- the slowdown effect in rap songs. Yup essential for me.
Fish Fillet- Read about it. De-esser was hyped and it is pretty good. Haven't really tried the rest yet.
I can still buy with academic pricing so I got Cubase, Kontakt, Battery, URS CSP at half price. Everything else was based on review and demoing to figure if it would work for me.
rap is based around delay effects and subtle things
I'm sorry, rap and subtle? You really gotta be joking. That's an oxymoron.
:D
I have a ton of VSTs and VSTis, but the ones I use most are UAD plugs and Hypersonic II, plus the EWQLSO orchestral libraries.

Houston,
just curious, you have a lot of nice gear but I find it kind of out of kilter that you have spent probably at least 15 grand on those two SmartAV control surfaces for example and yet you have $300 Maudio monitors.

Sry I didn't mean it like that. More like the subtle things make a rap song move and progress. Those things bring out the feeling and stuff. Lol when I read the quote I just said "dam did it come across like that." Haha cheers.

Kool list. How do you like Mach5 v2? Someone else was telling me good things about it. UAD is the thing to get. That's probably my next purchase. What UAD plugs do you have?

I'm more of a composer than audio engineer but I do mix all my own material and I have recorded bands with decent results. I really want to expand my knowledge of mixing and engineering overall. I imagine I will be buying a UAD2 card as my next major purchase to help me expand my skills into good mixing.

I've been thinking over getting some VSTi because most of the keyboard players I come across simply don't have the "right" good sounds available. I am thinking mostly Piano, Hammond Organ, and string section sounds for now.

Very impressive lists guys! Keep em coming.
@Eric
I want a UAD2 as well, but I want so much stuff. A UAD would be great tho.
@John
Have u looked at maybe Kontakt 3 and adding some libraries to that. I use the stock library which is fine for what I do, but it's the most popular and powerful sampler out right now.
