View Full Version : So we decided to make a filmclip!
My step bro and I had a crack at making a filmclip (it is our first go at this music video thing) for a band who's record I engineered and mixed. The track was all mixed in Nuendo :) be sure to watch in HD goodness!

Hey man, had me grinning the whole way through! I'm no expert in this style, but sounded damn good to me. Hard to believe its the first video you've done for anyone before. Great job. Where the hell did those shoes come from? Could there be more attitude? Ha!

Glad you liked it and got the humour Paul :) These guys are ALL attitude, in a tongue in cheek way so it's good that comes across in the vid!
these guys are from the really Aussie Queensland outback....the shoes are simply their everyday style man!! Haha! We had no wardrobe dpt for this one ;)
it was a lot of fun and I hope to diversify my work and do a few clips for bands I work with along the way. A one stop shop if you will!!! Haha

Hey Sam,
Great job on the clip, Mate, I loved the old beat up Fairlane/LTD that had wheels and tires probably worth more than the whole car... LOL
So did you just chance on a dead snake ??
BTW: Unique lineup, lead singer /drummer - ( there is a joke in there somewhere), can't say I have seen that for a while..
Haha...yeah the car was great....we wanted them to look like they were tryin hard....with no money ;) etc etc you get it.....
The snake was pure accident - we were driving out to Gundy to do the shoot, and I just pulled over randomly as the light was good and we wanted to have a play with the cameras and filters we just picked up from Brisbane on the way....Kane says 'I bet there is snakes in that grass' and as I got out I see a dead one smack bang in front of us.....it was an omen we were headed in the right direction!!!

Great job man. Definitely fits the genre. The song as well as the mix sounds great. The drummer as the singer is definitely few and far between. I used to do it years ago but as the music became more complex I found it way too hard to concentrate on everything and ya really need a front man anyway to interact with the audience. It's too hard behind a behemoth drum kit. ;)

There's no use in repeating previous compliments, so I'll just say :icon_cool: :icon_cool:
Cheers guys! Yeah it is a hard job for him to be a front man behind the kit, but he pulls it off I reckon ;)
