Hi,

since vBulletin is used, forum is quite slow for me... it takes at least twice as long (if not more) compared to previous timings.

Is this normal?

Regards,

b.

yes, very slow. Unless it gets speeded up, I prefer the old layout.

There's a new update that's out I am going to install. Hopefully that will fix it. Has anyone else been experiencing slowdowns?

I am checking into it.

Yes... it's slower... posting messages can take up to 30 seconds as I just experienced 10 minutes ago.
It also takes a few seconds too long (5 to 10?) for a page to appear after clicking a link.

I tried to work around by typing slower, but it didn't help :D

EDIT: This message posted in just 2 seconds... stupid forum:smash::D

Slower but also more secure.

The logon on situation has improved, eg works better with automated login programs.

Yes it's very slow compared to what was originally used. It takes forever to get to each new post I want to read. Hopefully a fix will correct it, if not I'd just go back to the software you were using. You know the old saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". :D

thanks for your patience guys and gals. We will get it worked out. I am really slammed right now but will get to it asap.

On another note, the vbulletin css editing system is a pain in the arse. It's trial and error trying to figure out what's what. I think I can download the template and edit in Dreamweaver so I might try that approach.
