Glad i found this place to spam again with music ;) As i use Cubase after 3 Years Nuendo, some may remember me over at the Nuendans-Place ... well, i do remember all your nicks at least :)

This is my first track in '09 .. a remix with Vocals from "Loveshadow" found over @ ccmixter.org (btw: great source!)

I nearly stopped this track right near the very beginning because it is a long way from the music I usually listen to but something about the bassline kept me listening and I'm glad I did. The mix sounds very good to me - everything nice and clear - and some lovely processing on the vocals. I really enjoyed this.

Simon, also not my usual style. I love all sorts of stylistics, grow up with DeathMetal, listened to DonJohnson 'tell it like it is on tape' as it came out HA. etcetc What are you usually on with?

But please be truely with me: the quality is nothing compared to worldclass mastered Mixes. I want to reach that level, so be hard to me! Slap me, hack me, dill me!
-> 'Bassguitar' is lifeless, not enough rumble in the bassregion and to thin in panorama, silly upperMIDs, to much high freqs and also bad panorama usage.

I listen mainly to progressive rock and progressive metal but there are lots of other things I listen to occasionally.

Well, not being very familiar with this style of music I just assumed that was the bass sound you were after :) (Also, I was only listening on cheap headphones at work so judging the "rumble" in the bass region would have been impossible). I just wanted to let you know I liked the song :)
