I am aiming to achieve the following synchronisations, and need help on how to set up the project synchronisation page on Nuendo. For further help I will state the devices being used to accomplish this; - an Akai MPC 2000XL and ESI M8U MIDI rack.
The synchronisations are as follows;
1. Sync Cubase 5 and Akai MPC 200XL so that midi data is recorded to both devices simultaneously
2. Have MIDI data recorded using the virtual Keyboard in Cubase 5 recording to selected (respective) MIDI track on the Akai MPC 2000XL
3. Ensure that I am using the best frame rate/sync setting to achieve this (when applying settings on MPC 2000XL and in Cubase 5)
*Please note that I have already dealt with the MIDI Input Transformer in Cubase; for those with a little advanced knowledge on ensuring MIDI Channels/Tracks record correctly into Cubase.
