I think it would be time saving and helpful if the export dialogue allowed for multi export of different formats.
You could export a 24 or 32 Bit float WAV 96 kHz along with a 16/44.1 and mp3 simultaneous.
So you could render the premaster for the mastering enginee, mix for the client to listen to and mp3 for the band's uploading to myspace or whatever.
Maybe there is a script for this or could be written. Not really familiar with it though.

I don't know if this could be possible. I guess that might be a good idea. As I think about it, there are a few instances where I could have used this feature.
Bump.

Possible problems there - how would you select what export to monitor in real time? What would happen if you wanted to monitor all exports? (I know I always do - never trust anything "automatic" or silent exports)
How would you set different sample rates for the same export dialogue - this would need to be on a buss basis, and that could get a tad awkward (remember the fiasco with bit depth/sample rates on export?)
All that aside, as long as you don't change sample rates you might get this to work by setting up different busses, and setting each buss to it's own type for export. Could be good - but you would have to check everything back manually anyway, to be certain there are no export glitches, so not too certain I can see this one flying.
