Perhaps it is the sheer quantity of the plugins that they don't have 64bit rolling yet? Or is there some severe complexity to converting a plug to 64bit?

I'd have thought more of the plugs would have 64 bit versions by now. Good think I can run 32bit Cubase well with XP x64 and just run most of my vst's outside the program.

It is. Very. And gets around the problem - for Waves plugins at least - that Nuendo's VST2 support has been broken for some time. Grrr.

Its interesting that WAVES compatability page shows every DAW under the sun and also now has STUDIO ONE up there but doesnt have REAPER listed which has been around much longer, 3 years I think or more

You know, I actually went out and upgraded, but there is no side chain on RenComp even in v7...
