Moving a tempo track to logic

Anyone know the correct export settings to get a tempo track into logic from nuendo? I have many times gone the other way (nice n easy) but can't seem to get the info from nuendo into a logic (v8.x) session.

Does someone have the knowledge here to share?

Hm... pretty much tried everything during an hour or so yest... and could not get it happening.
Would love to hear any ideas??? :) It's just gotta be possible...doesn't it?

You probably tried this, but I always export a midi file from Nuendo to get the tempo over to other DAWs..

I did this with some PT sessions when giving Logic a go..
Export from host, but be sure you are exporting tempo, markers, etc. Some hosts require a user selection, and to have at least one unmuted MIDI track.

With Logic...
Beast of an app in some regards. In order to get tempo info, IIRC, open the .mid file as a new song in Logic. This should provide you with copies and proper placement of all the MIDI tracks, regions, etc.. plus the markers, tempo, meter, etc. There should be nothing else present. I cannot recall if there are Prefs to set for this to work *properly* or if the default settings do as I just described.

Next step is to copy and paste, OR save and then begin to import any tracks, settings, etc the song requires. Not as easy as it may seem, to others it is completely intuitive. If you get to this point and it did not open properly, try opening it back in the host. If the host of origin fails to open it properly, then the host is buggering it, or the user has not set the proper export settings, defined parameters, etc.
