Anyone who owns a UAD system and doesn't have this plug - I think you are missing out. I generally hate plugin EQ's for primetime 'musical' stuff - as I have some 9098 channels and other HW EQ's around that always eat them alive....BUT...things have changed a little. I am mixing a record at the moment, heavy rock, and I just loved this little sucker enough to drop the $$ on it....its the only plugin EQ (bar the Neve ones sometimes) that i feel comfortable really pushing hard on stuff that is front and centre in my mix....the top end is really something....actually the bottom end is great too. Different to the 9098's for sure, not as savage, but easily as useable as a great complimenting EQ....

Well done to the supergeeks at UAD who emulated this baby....they are slowly changing my thinking on plugs with every new emu they release these days....

I picked up the fatso too - it is brilliant, the additions in the Fatso Sr are make it so very mch more useful on a wider range of material. The EMT 250 is also a winner - love the chorusing on that thing! BV groups watch out BABY!!

hmmm....with all my blubbering maybe this should actually be in gearlust ;)

Couldn't agree more about the Harrison. I've found myself remixing old projects just to use it.
