I think it's awful. LOL

I'll stick with what I have until it doesn't work anymore. No sense in sending these bits to the scrapper until they no longer compute.

I looked around their website. Maybe I'm just getting old, but the thought of changing my DAW program couldn't be a more unsavory prospect.

This guy has been working on the program in his spare time since 1990!!

As far as its layout............. it was hard to tell. And they didn't have much about midi features that I could easily see. I'd probably jump on Reaper before I would this one, but even Reaper is just too different from my current work flow. Though I may still give it a whack for mixing.

Oh, so Lex, what looks nice about it? Maybe I missed something.

I am liking what I am seeing so far and apparently one of the original guys that did Nuendo is behind it. Only thing that turns me off is the Presonus connection.

Founded in 2006 by Wolfgang Kundrus and Matthias Juwan, KristalLabs is a start-up company with extensive experience in the music software industry.

Wolfgang Kundrus was the main software architect of "Cubase" and "Nuendo" while working at Steinberg. He is the founder of the "MusicDock" online platform.

Matthias Juwan was working on various commercial software products, among others "Cubase", "HALion", "Plex" and the VST plug-in technology, while at Steinberg. He is the lead developer of the well-known freeware sequencer "KRISTAL Audio Engine".

KristalLabs is working on next-generation software solutions for music production on PC and Macintosh.

KristalLabs is based in Hamburg, Germany.
