the only one I ever did was EW Symphonic Choirs with Word Builder.

I had numerous problems with the Lib... it may not have been the midi plugin's fault... can't remember to tell the truth.

Apparently they updated the whole word builder thing and it's much better now... apparently.

Cheers,

I use word builder, and didn't have any troubles.

I have choir on a separate machine, so that may make a difference.

In Nuendo 3.2, it worked.

Best thing you can do it try it, see if it works and report back. ;)

Where did it put the .dll? :D

I've tried, which is why I ask.;)

I put the .dll in the same folder as the step designer plug and Cubase doesn't recognize it.

The wordbuilder.dll comes into play as trying to help someone figure out where the .dll for that is stored is what started this.

Look in the plugin manager to see if it's listed there. You might be able to activate it anyway, despite any warnings. Usually when a plugin doesn't work, it's because it doesn't work.

That's the first place I look for it.

I can't get it to show under MIDI plugs no how, no way. :(

Have you tried putting de .dll on Cubase's "components" folder?

Just in case anyone is wondering the why behind 3rd party MIDI plugins appearing as instruments, it is because MIDI plugins in Cubendo use the VST Module Architecture instead of VST 2.4/3.

It must have been developed to rival Cakewalk's MFX plugins which were developed because DXi needed it, whereas VST already had the functionality.

It would be better to have a VST to VSTMA wrapper included with Cubendo in the same way a MFX to VSTMA wrapper is included because all 3rd party MIDI plugins need ported over to the Module Architecture and because it is a different SDK it means you need to study both the VST and VSTMA SDK to know what to change. Nobody who is developing useful MIDI plugins for use in another sequencer is going to bother.
