At last!!

From the few vague comments it seems to be working with Win 7

They released a 64 bit driver a while back on the main site. I came back a few days later and there was no trace of it. I've found TC drivers to be unreliable at all times. My PoCo sits in the closet.

Sorry to hear that D. My Powercore Firewire unit has been great but the wait for 64bit has been frustrating for a lot of people. I'm hoping to move over to a proper 64bit system later this year so this is good news for me. If you want the driver you need to sign up for the beta program, so you can't just download it off the TC site.

Cheers,

Rob

You're probably better off with the firewire version. I know a few people that have had problems with the internal cards. I'm afraid to even try the drivers. The only plugs I really used were the reverbs and the delay/chorus. I'm happy with my UAD cards mostly, even though they have had issues with their latest releases.

Hey D,

I was the TC support dude locally for a quite a few years, let me tell you the opposite is true, the PCI/PCie cards are far less problematic than the Firewire units.

I can't even begin to tell you what I think of TC support, even at the upper levels that I was privy to.. :eusa_whistle:

Re the drivers, I had to use the version prior to the latest on a recent build, the 3.2 driver install wouldn't even execute from memory , I downloaded it again in case it was corrupted, same shite. I just rolled my eyes, downloaded the earlier build that worked fine, and washed my hands clean , didn't even bother emailing TC support.

If anyone has the BETA 64 driver and would like to pass it on that would be great, I don't want to personally interact with TC again, not at any level.., too many scars..

As far as I know there has never been any device which worked better as a firewire version, not TC, not SSL, not RME. The best to hope for is that it comes close to pci.

I just went back to 2.2 drivers (or whatever the latest 2.xx version was) because the 3 version created weird stuff in combination with UAD and Duende. At least it's sortof good news that TC gets kinda moving.

I wonder if Duende V3 is win7 64 compatible?
