Hello all,

I think it's tops we have a place to buy and sell gear but how about a little mention in the subtitle (or additional sub-forum) about discussing equipment more generally, like how a saffire 26 i/o compares to an Echo Layla 24.

Thank you

I think you can discuss that kind of stuff in Gearlust or ComputerTech.

I thought that after I posted but I decided to leave the topic there.

I suppose what I think this place needs is some general information but the problem then would be where to put it. Maybe one day when it gets going instead of it being cubendo.com it will be cubendo.com/forum or forum.cubendo.com with the domain serving in other ways besides.

Just some thoughts.

I gotcha messianic. Yeah I should have done cubendo.com/forum I still can and will. Good idea as that will leave more room for expansion etc.

Hi Animus,

I thank you for your reply here.

As we all would like to see this project succeed I feel it's important everyone is patient as you have asked us all to be.

I think keep the forum how it is at the moment and not make any changes to sub-domains or even graphics.

I feel the best way forward is to simply leave it as it is notwithstanding feature updates and improvements and let everyone have their gripe on what they like least (without being negative) about the programs they use generally and to get some really solid topics hapening in the bugbase (moderator approved or initiated) having a completely refined discussion "first post".

As you seem to have a way of presenting a situation my suggestion is to only move exceptional topics from general to bugbase and start fresh without nessarily opening a topic for ongoing comment as all users can simply link back from general or hadware etc.

I feel this way will promote information sharing and broader ongoing discussion, while not muddying the waters with jargon and so forth.

Thanks again and good luck
