I'm wondering if it is from Sound City. I used to record there in the late 70's and early eighties. I'm really not sure if it is the exact same Neve, but I just LOVED those boards in both studio A and B. For me at the time, they were just magic.

Wow - the prices are amazing for these neve's eh.
My studio partner is looking for an 80 series neve - but the prices have gone completely thru the roof - its astounding what people want for them. I guess the ebay price of the 1073's / 1081's etc have caused some of this.
Ah, it is what it is I guess. Good luck to him if he can get that $...
