Hi guys,
I was going to post a bug that been present since N 2.0 but Bug base is only an administrative privilege. What if we add a Bug Report section? And if we get reproducible results it ends up in the Bug Base -- via an administrator.
Sound like an idea?
Cheers,
T
T - just post it as a bug report in general and we'll move it to the bug base section. The reason for separating the bug base with admin privileges is simply so we can make the bug base an easy reference for users, rather than having threads there as well.
A separate bug reporting section for users to post might be a good idea though.

Read the sticky in the Bugbase. The idea was to post issues in the General Discussion forum and if anything is confirmed they are added to the Bugbase forum.

Maybe it might be better as an announcement :)

well... one reason I think it might be better to have a separate Bug Report area is for doing searches. If it's lumped in with all the "general" section stuff... it may be harder to maintain.
Just sayin' ;)
But either way... cool beans!:D

.. and that's the point, once something becomes a known and confirmed bug, then people can comment further. It would mean a new "bug report" would need to be filed, which judging by the Moderator participation in this forum would be generated anew.

yeah, I see your point. I am up for whatever. Nothing dogmatic about the approach of the forum. We'll adapt to needs.
